Full of historic landscapes from the gold-rush era, our quilt & wine tours will be comprised of 5 days and 4 nights of quilts, incredible vistas and amazing wine tastings. SIERRA NEVADA QUILT & WINE TOURS

May 31-June 4, 2022: Quilts & Wine in California, Lavender and Sunshine

Join us when summer is on the horizon, the air is clear and the flowers (and grapes) are fresh on the vine. Our June tour will include all of the above plus a minimum of 6 wine tastings, a visit to local flower and produce farms (including one with 2500 varieties of lavenders that may just as well be in the South of France!), the Quilt Barn Trail, an incredible farm lunch, lunch and antique shopping in Old Hangtown.

Price: $1375 double occupancy, $500 additional for single occupancy

October 12-16, 2022: Quilts & Wine in the Sierra, It’s Harvest Time!

As the morning chill begins to bite the air, we will enjoy amazing days during Harvest in the Sierra Nevada. Including all the above, we will also be taking in time at several farms in the world-famous APPLE HILL. Here, in addition to picking your own apples, pears, strawberries, fresh flowers they also offer regional delicacies, sweets and baked goods. During our winery visits and tastings we will enjoy the décor of the harvest season as we travel through the Quilt Barn Trail, have an amazing farm lunch as well as lunch in Old Town Placerville where the antique shops and boutiques are sublime!

December 13-18, 2022: California Quilts & Wine, Christmas in Wine Country

Christmastime magic in the Sierra abounds with fairs and festivals, special wine parings and spectacular holiday festivities. In addition to the above, we will be visiting 5 wineries famous for their holiday traditions, the Quilt Barn Trail, enjoy specialty shopping at holiday markets and lunch at the amazing Sweetie Pies in Placerville, as well as check out the tasty Yule-time pies, wines, cider, fruit and jams in Apple Hill.
